Looking for a special place where you and your friends, family or colleagues can get together and forget about city life ? Or perhaps you just want to take some time out to appreciate life again and spend time with your special people in a relaxed and safe environment. We offer camping sites for single travelers, couples, small groups and groups.

The farm is situated 15km outside Bonnievale towards Swellendam. It is a working farm where we produce vegetable seeds. A herd of friendly Jersey cows will be grazing the green pastures with your visit to the farm.

 We are centrally situated in the Breede River Valley with the country towns Bonnievale, Swellendam, Robertson and Montagu closeby. The area offers lovely scenic drives and many activities to enjoy.

What you can expect ?

Total relaxation, privacy, safety and a close to nature experience. If you bring dogs with, you can keep them unleashed inside the fenced area where you stay and they will not bother any other guests, the staff or the herd of cows on the farm. If you go for a walk outside the fenced camp or site which you booked you need to keep the dogs leashed at all times. Breede Escape is owner managed with a hands on approach and 24 hour availability if you need assistance in any way. 

But before you decide if this is the place for you ? Please note the NO - NO's at Breede Escape ! NO music  NO firecrackers NO sky - lanterns NO boats with power engins NO day visitors NO youth groups  NO diving into the river NO access to the river for those who cannot swim or when the river is in flood. NO unsocialized dogs NO Pitbulls or Pitbull cross breeds NO American Bullies allowed. All dogs by arrangement only.  But YES YES please find the time and come and enjoy !!
