THE SETTING

On a working farm in the country, in a beautiful valley, we offer two private camps to guests. The HutCamp ( with tiny houses ) and the Exclusive Camp ( for camping ), both with river frontage. The two river camps within walking distance from one another. Single stands for camping might be available in 2025.  We are pet friendly with rules, so that dog lovers and non dog lovers can all enjoy their stay on the farm.
The location is not ideal for small children who cannot swim. They will have to be supervised all the time, but you are welcome to bring them along.
The farm has scenic views onto the majectic Langeberg as back drop to the wide Breede River.
If you stay long enough you can take some scenic drives onto the Langeberg Meander or even into the Overberg, Klein Karoo and Robertson Wine Valley.
Witsand or Arniston at the sea is not that far if you want to day visit the ocean.
If you come for a night or two and come with your favourite group of friends or family, you will most probably just enjoy long hours at the fire, late morning breakfasts or an easy paddle on the river.
DSTV premium is available at your private camp as an optional extra.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

Total relaxation, privacy, safety and a close to nature experience. It might not be the ideal venue for babies and small children.  If you bring dogs with, you can keep them in the fenced camp and they will not bother any other guests, staff or the herd of cows on the farm. The camps are owner managed with a hands on approach and 24 hour availability if you need assistance in any way. Please note that the river is deep and wide and not suitable for small children or those who cannot swim. However we do have river frontage with sandy and lawned areas where you can walk along the river bank or sit under a tree and relax with the little ones while they play in the sand. We are working on a small slipway for the fisherman, only for battery operated boats or kick boats. We do not allow boats with petrol engines.
The NO - NO'S as follows to ensure safety and a close to nature experience: NO day visitors NO youth groups NO music NO sky lanterns NO use of firearms NO fire works NO helium balloons NO out of control barking dogs NO littering.  Please respect nature and other guests visiting the farm.
But most of all YES please, do enjoy your stay and the peacefulness and company of friends, family or colleagues.
